 Registration for the 2023-2024 Season is OPEN!!!

• Registration is only available "online" with fees payable via Credit/Debit card
• No personal checks.
• No custom payment plans will be accepted. Available payment plans are listed further down this page.
• All players must have paid the registration to participate in Tryouts/Evaluations.
• 2023-2024 fees are below. You will have an option to setup an automatic draft payment plan when you register. Installment dates are listed below. 
• New Players to Lakes Area should provide the following at tryouts/evaluations or email to Lakes Area Hockey Registrar:
  • Birth Certificate
  • Release from previous hockey association if applicable

*Please note: You must register for your players 2023-2024 USA Hockey number. This is REQUIRED of every player within Lakes Area Hockey Association to register for a brand new USA Hockey number each summer for the upcoming fall season. Your 2022-2023 USA Hockey cannot be used for this season. 

The cost for USA Hockey has changed to a tiered fee structure:

• Ages 6 & under (Minis) - $15
• Ages 7-8 (Mites) - $50
• Ages 9-12 - $61
• Ages 13-18 - $70
• Ages 19 & over, including coaches - $46

There is also a $10 Midwest affiliate fee.

So, for example, the total USA Hockey registration cost for ages 19 & up is $56.00 for the season.

If you already have a SportsEngine account you can use that account or simply create a new account.

A late fee of $50 will be applied to registrations after September 15th. 

Travel hockey registration fee refund requests submitted by October 1 will be refunded in FULL

Travel hockey registration fee refund requests submitted by November 1 will be refunded full amount less 20%

No refunds will be granted after November 1.

ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY DECEMBER 1 OR PLAYERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON ICE.

• If you register on or after the 1st installment date, 4 payments will be remaining
• If you register on or after the 2nd installment date, 3 payments will be remaining
• If you register on or after the 3rd installment date, 2 payments will be remaining
• If you register on or after the 4th installment date, 1 payment will be remaining
• If you register on or after the 5th and final installment date, the full registration fee will be due at registration. So take advantage of our payment plan!

A player that is a dressed goalie for 40% of scheduled games will receive a $300.00 max stipend payable at the conclusion of the season. 

$600 max per team and $300 max per player

One of the many goals of Lakes Area Hockey Association is to ensure any child with the desire, commitment, and ability to play hockey has the opportunity regardless of financial ability.

With the help of a generous donor, we are accepting scholarship applications for any girl playing hockey for LAHA of the amount of $250 that meet the following criteria:

-Any girl that plays in their first year of travel in District 4 for a Boji Blizzard girls team (A girl that moves to area and has played before would qualify for 1st year with Blizzard)

-Any girl that plays Rec league and goes on to play District 4 for Blizzard for their first year of travel 

-Any girl that plays in their first year of travel in District 4 for a boys team when there is no girls team available at their age level
