Scholarships

Youth Hockey Scholarship Guidelines:

●      Awards are based upon availability of funds and are not guaranteed

●      Awards are not talent based

●      Awards are applied to registration fees of up to 75%

●      Players must have no unpaid fees to LAHA from prior years

●      Players must be in good standing with LAHA, MWAHA, and USA Hockey and exhibit a financial need.

●      Families must commit to volunteering and fundraising as required in LAHA policies

Awards Based on a combination of scores on the following criteria:

●      Financial need of the parent/child

●      Special Circumstances of the parent/child

●      Number of players the parent has in hockey

(Scale of 1-5 with 1 being low need and 5 being high need)

The applications will be scored by the Scholarship Committee comprised of the Vice President and Registrar and awarded based upon availability of funds. In the event of a tie, the President will make the final decision on the award.

Deadline for submitting Scholarship Application for 25-26 Season is August 15th, 2025 at 11:59PM

All application forms and information submitted will be kept confidential with the Scholarship Committee.
