Skate Sharpening

The Lakes Area Ice Arena owns a Sparx skate sharpening machine to provide timely and local skate sharpening services for LAHA members and non-members

Fees

$5.00 per sharpening for both LAHA members and non-members.

Beginning in the 2025-2026 season, punch cards will be available for 10 sharpenings for $45.00.

Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and electronic payment via iPad.

The Lakes Area Hockey Association only offers the 1/2, 1/2 Fire & 5/8 Sparx Grinding Rings.

If you wish to have your skates sharpened with a different grinding ring, you must provide that to the Skate Sharpening Coordinator
